Eurythmics可說是在80年代初期流行樂壇最為成功的雙人組合，這支由吉他手Dave A. Stewert和主唱Annie Lennox兩人所組成的團體原本以當時英國甚為流行的Synth-Pop樂風而起家，但在80年代中期卻又一改為New Wave浪潮的先趨，將搖滾樂推往更新一層的領域。
Eurythmics的許多首膾炙人口的暢銷金曲如〈Love Is A Stranger〉、〈Sweet Dreams(Are Made Of This)〉、〈Here Comes The Rain Again〉等，在當時風靡了全球千萬的搖滾及流行音樂樂迷，橫掃歐美樂壇人氣之旺無人能與之並駕齊驅。
